
I recently updated a recipe that was originally published during lockdown. The old recipe was good but it looked sad. Lacking color and lacking texture. Or, perhaps, that’s how I remembered it. I didn’t want to complain about the lockdown. We were lucky that no one in the family got infected with COVID but I have to admit that cooking was difficult especially during the first few months. Good ingredients were scarce and, when available, restrictions often made them inaccessible. I’m glad those days are over. I like the new chicken and broccoli stir fry better than the old version. If there are any other sad looking dishes in the blog that were published in 2020, they will likely get updated with better recipes and photos.
