My favorite fruit, hands down. Mango is great by itself but there are countless ways to intergrate it into everyday eats and drinks.
While agroculturists have found ways to harvest mangoes all year ‘round, I find that it isn’t really accurate to claim that mangoes are equally good any time of the year. Oh, no. Mangoes harvested during the hot summer months are still the most luscious.
It’s monsoon season here right now, mangoes aren’t the best, but if you can get sweet ripe mangoes in your part of the world (it is summer in the northen hemisphere where over half of you subscribers are, after all), I have plenty of recommendations. Oh, and let’s not forget green mangoes because they’re fantastic too!
